Northrend Regional Levels

No doubt you will have already found out that Blizzard has added Northrend to the region levels on their website. The image taken from the offical warcraft pages shows us the two starting zones, Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord will be available to level 68 characters. This will be the same as the last World of Warcraft Expansion expansion, The Burning Crusade, although there will be 2 different starting areas on Northrend. This should prevent the chaos seen in Hellfire Penninsula on the first day of expansion. As well as being a lag fest with everyone in the same area at the same time, finding enough mobs to kill for your quests was a challenge.

I’ve seen a few sites that discuss how the structure of Northrend will prevent people form leveling too fast and how the developers want us to slow down or travel time and admire the scenery as we level up to 80. Unfortunately though there will always be those that want to get to level 8 the fastest and be the first their server to reach level 80 on Northrend.

These same people will no doubt write about their leveling experiences so the rest of us can follow. This then leads everyone searching for a Northrend leveling guide just like the other warcraft leveling guides available today. So unfortunately as much as the developers would like us to take our time and admire the fruits of their hard labor, it won’t be long before there we see a Northrend power leveling guide on the internet.

If I find one I’ll let you all know were to get it :-)
